Colamb villagers stop Fomento mining transport

According to information received late last evening group of Colamb villagers have stopped Fomentos mining transportation works again. Fometos were carrying on mining trucks from the forest land. Villagers reportedly have filed complaint against the mining company for violating forest laws and transporting the ore from Forest. Several trucks were stuck inside the Hiralal Khodidas mine with lease number 06/1949 after villagers squatted on the road passing through Forest Land.

Villagers are demanding that this mine be closed down. In the meanwhile there are unconfirmed reports that Police has provided escort service to Fomento mining manager en route to Police police station to register complaint against agitating villagers many of whom are tribals depending upon agriculture.
