All the advocates present for the meeting noted that the responsible authorities are ignoring the direction given by Our Hon’ble High Court in Writ Petition No.418/1989 on the point of Transportation of ore which resulted in causing inconvenience to the public. The resolution further states that there is no control of the authorities over the loading of the truck and it result in constant blockage of road and even approachable roads are blocked as the trucks are parked without keeping any distance to pass in between.

The authorities are hand in gloves with the mine owners and contractors and as a result they are hesitating to take prompt action against the said illegal activities of the mining truck and if the authorities were to act then there would have not been chaos reads the resolution further.

The association also condemned the false complaint dated 17/12/09 filed against Adv. John Fernandes by the Quepem police.
