Architect Elsa's pre-emptive letter to Santa Cruz Panchayat

Sub: Regarding construction of illegal compound wall causing obstruction to vehicles.

Sir,

Illegal construction works of building compound wall was carried out by Mrs Natalina Afonso, House No.1027/A, Segundo Bairo, Santa Cruz, Tiswadi, Goa and as no relief was available we had filed a Writ Petition in the matter WP/1472/2021(Filing) which was decided on 26/07/2021 wherein the Secretary Village Panchayat of Santa Cruz also was one of the party. On 17/8/2021, therefore the Secretary Village Panchayat of Santa Cruz issued Order of Demolition and the said obstruction to vehicle movement was removed. 

However, yesterday some workers have taken measurements of the said area where the illegal compound wall was constructed and later demolished and we fear that the works will be started again and even completed on a holiday or the weekend by installing iron gates brought in ready to instal. Photos attached of present status.

In view of this, we request that action be initiated in this regard so that the after going through all legal and administrative attempts to restore the law, we will still be left with no option but to reach out to the courts again for remedy. 

Also, as per our letter dated 21/9/2021, we had highlighted the corners of the compound wall at six different locations which needs to be reviewed for rounding up as they have been constructed at right angles which cause obstruction to smooth vehicle turning. 

Awaiting urgent attention against Mrs. Natalina Afonso illegal construction matter as highlighted above and also the six cases which need review.
