Motesh Antao filed RTI application on 14/8/2009 with the Office of Superintendent of Police, South Goa. Goa Police attached to Quepem Police Station called him to collect the requested information on September 25, 2009 and instead arrested him on some 10 month old case for blocking road to the mining site registered against him due to complaint by the Manager at Hiralal Khodidas iron ore mine at Colamb, Sanguem operated by Fomento mining company. Motesh was later released on bail the same day evening.
